Scope of Practice: It is understood by the client that all services offered and rendered by Erin Littlewood are for relaxation and educational purposes only and do not serve as medical, psychological or legal counsel. Erin is a Certified Aromatherapist through the American College of Healthcare Sciences and is not a licensed physician, mental healthcare provider, counselor, attorney or other licensed professional. By agreeing to Erin's services, the client understands and respects Erin's scope of practice and limitations therein.
Consult: An initial consult with a general health intake is required to receive a custom blend. During this confidential consult, which may last up to but not exceeding 30 minutes, Erin will ask the client questions pertaining to their health including any pertinent or chronic health issues, challenges, allergies, medications taken, or other vital health information that may be important to know before Erin creates a custom blend with essential oils. Erin may ask if the client is currently seeking counseling from a mental healthcare provider. Seeking to understand the nature of the client’s request for a custom blend, Erin may ask questions that help her understand how she may best select essential oils of the greatest emotional value to the client. She will also ask which botanical aromas the client tends to favor and which should be avoided.
Blending: Erin will do her best with the understanding she has available to her based on her best efforts to collect adequate information to create a unique, custom designed aromatic blend using high quality essential oils and carrier oils as appropriate. All essential oils and carrier oils will be disclosed to the client via email prior to the custom blend’s creation. The client has the right to refuse any essential oil proposed for the blend up to two times. If the client is not agreeable with the creative direction Erin attempts to take after two proposed suggestions, Erin may refuse to create the blend due to creative differences and issue a partial refund equaling 50% of the total cost of services. Each essential oil product will be labeled with its ingredients. Each custom aromatic product will come with reasonably detailed notes regarding each essential oil chosen for the blend as well as usage directions and a “use by” date. These notes serve to provide an introductory education about each essential oil selected and do not serve to diagnose, treat, mitigate disease or substitute mental healthcare. All clients are encouraged to seek appropriate medical attention and counsel by licensed providers. Erin Littlewood is not a medical health or mental health provider or counselor.
Payment: Payment for all services is retained by Erin prior to the scheduled phone or Zoom consultation or in-home visit (for referrals only). Clients must read and agree to the terms of service prior to submitting payment.
Adverse Reactions: All clients must understand the potential risk of using natural botanical products prior to services rendered and consult with their physician if there are any health concerns or allergies. If there are chronic health conditions or medications that may be effected by the use of essential oils, it is the client's responsibility to get their physician's approval for any essential oil's use prior to receiving the essential oil blend. In the unlikely event there is a severe allergic or neurological reaction to a custom blend, the client should seek medical attention and immediately discontinue the use of the blend. The client may be refunded the market price of $25, per rollerball, or $30 for 1 ounce spray, after Erin receives the returned blend in the mail from the client (client must pay return postage). The blend must not have been used more than 25% of the total container volume. Aromatic Divina, LLC or Erin Littlewood will not be held liable for adverse reactions to the essential oil blend created following due diligence.
Consultation Cancellation or Reschedule: All 60-minute consultations are paid prior to the session via Venmo to @AromaticDivinaLLC. Should the client miss the scheduled appointment and fail to notify Erin, no refund will be issued. If a client needs to reschedule a consultation session, they must notify Erin via email at AromaticDivinaLLC@gmail.com at least 6 hours before the scheduled session. The client may have an opportunity to reschedule their session one time beyond their originally scheduled session per Erin’s availability. If no time can be agreed upon, the client will be refunded 50% of total service cost. There are no exceptions to these terms.
Right to Refuse: Erin retains the right to refuse services to anyone engaging in inappropriate, unsafe or otherwise offensive or harmful behavior during any part of the service. A 50% refund of payment for services will be issued with 24 hours of the service.
